Ledger Notes is a personal finance application. Your data belongs to you. We do not sell your information.
What we collect: email address and password (hashed), financial records you enter (accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, groceries, LenDen balances), and optional device identifiers if you enable the security allowlist on self-hosted deployments.
Where data is stored: on the server hosting your instance (e.g. Railway Postgres and the app service). Data is not shared with third-party analytics or advertising networks by default.
AI features: if you use grocery receipt extraction, receipt text may be sent to the configured AI provider to parse line items. Do not upload sensitive documents you do not want processed by that service.
Your rights: you can export or delete your ledger data from the Account page. Account deletion permanently removes your login and all associated records.
